Awwwww poor baby!
Did she get it from Lipitor?
She is not on any medicine.
She stopped eating a couple days ago, made one phone call this morning and boom, saw the vet late morning.

High liver enzimes(sp) Alk Phos.
Enlarged liver pushing her intestines against her stomach, causing her not to feel hungry and feel like $hit. Very lethargic.
Not good.
She is 10 yrs old.

But I did get her to eat some chicken tonight

I'm just worried about cancer, and I don't want her in pain.
Vet doesn't think she is in pain yet, but just uncomfortable.

I have several dogs, 1 of mine was diagnosed w/an enlarged liver, come to find out it was related to the Prednisone the vet had prescribed. Sometimes liver disease may be due to viral or bacterial infection, parasites, cancer, inflammation, obstructive bile duct disease, toxic reactions, or as a result of certain medications.
My dog was 12, he lived another 5 years! I feel your pain and sadness.
Keep the faith, when dogs are in pain they let us know-trust me!
