Ok, the snow is about all gone. It's all warmed up so lets see some photos of something! Grab your cameras!

The Mahonia is almost open, the fragrant honeysuckle is open and smelled terrific, and the daffys are just about there.

I "dead headed" the lillies yesterday afternoon and found the new sprouts. Nope. Didn't shoot any.

Here are a few from the other day. Spring is coming to the Great Smoky Mtns. National Park. The wildflowers are starting to bloom. C&C welcome!

I haven't been snapping many photos lately. I tend to hibernate when it's cold, and winter is a very ugly season where I live. Just brown everywhere.

My husband bought me a Diana+ toy camera and I've been playing around with that. I have to mail the film out for processing (120) so I only have one roll back so far. The images turned out a little more milky than I expected, but I like the effect. I'm not sure if it's because it was extremely sunny that day, or if it's just the unique nature of my particular camera. No two Dianas will take the same photo. I have heard that they are poor in low light conditions (unless you use a tripod, but that seems to take away from the spontaneous nature of lomography for me) so I'll try some more toward the "magic hour" of an otherwise sunny day.

And pardon the black edges on these scans - the lab did it and I just haven't cleaned them up yet.

A sign of spring. My purple leaf plum trees started blooming and the bugs are already coming out. Had to go to iso 800 due to low light and using the tripod wouldn't have helped since the wind was blowing them around. This was the best i could do.

Sweet MrX. Is yours the one with the Turbo?

Thanks crf! Mine isnt in any of the photos actually.

Nice shots, I like the second one the best. I need to work on my macros, and getting a sufficient DoF in them.
