Celie has been enrolled in pre-k!
Um....I mean ..........yeah, that's what I meant.
I joke now, but I'm sure when the day comes for her to actually go, the tears will flow. Hey, that rhymes!
Congrats to her.
It will only get better. She will make you tons of things in this first year. Go to the pumpkin patch and bring you home a deformed looking one that you will have to ooh and aah over.
I thought your daughter Celie was much older when you first told me her name. You waited a long time to use that name didn't you?
Don't feel bad about crying when her first day comes, love is love.
Been through it twice with my older ones. Now I can't wait to kick their butts out on the first day of school.
You don't have to tell me.
That's usually when I take my "summer" vacation for two weeks.
Now I just run around like crazy with all of the after school activities and clubs! That's okay though. They're only young once! I can do this! (Remind me of this often, okay?)

With my first, I was in tears....the second, gave a heavy sigh....the rest couldn't wait till they graduated and left my house

I didn't read the whole thread. Where do you have her?
She'll go to Turner's pre-k next year. She will automatically get in I believe due to her medical problems.
Where's that? What are her medical issues?
Oh, wow.Eva Turner Elementary School. Her medical problems are Renal Tubular Acidosis, Failure to Thrive, possible malabsorbancy, along with a few other things like heart murmur she had a tied frenulum (fixed now) . The main thing is the RTA and FTT. She's only 27lb. and was 4 in January.
I cry on the last day of school.
I know what you mean. During the summer I have a minimum of 7 kids here everyday. Wait, I have that everyday now.
That's one thing I have fought for a while, still winning but for how much longer with a 14y/o.
My mom was like that but with six children, she wasn't going to get away with not having tons of friends over at some point. Perhaps when I get a bigger house with a dungeon...er... basement, I won't mind them having friends over. Maybe...

I think I will be ok the first day of pre-school with my youngest who starts in August. I suspect the tears will flow the first day of Kindergarten when my baby climbs onto that bus and waves good-bye to me.
