A group of monks in a monastery are worried about their future. Being that they have taken vows of poverty, they don't have much money and the finacial situation in the monestary is getting pretty bad. They come to the conclusion that they will pick flowers from their gardens and sell them for a small profit.
It is slow going but word got around and pretty soon, the monks are very successful. Everyone goes to the monastery to get beautiful, inexpensive bouquets.
Months pass and the town florists have lost most of their business due to those enterprising monks. They hold a meeting and decide to take matters into their own hands.
They finally end up hiring a small-time mobster, Hugh the Hitman, to "take care" of the problem monks. Because, Hugh, and only Hugh, can prevent florist friars!
