Realized this morning that these last few weeks of cold weather have me just going out to the barn to do a "functional clean" of the stalls (my term for the stalls are clean but not as OCD'like as I prefer), doling out treats, and racing back inside because my toes are numb and my face burns from the wind.
This morning reared the 'entitlement monster' of my beloved angel
when I didn't allow him to clean up his neighbor's food bowl (was 2 days worth of meals for his easy keeper butt!) and asked him to actually think before I gave him his treats. This weekend looks promising with warmer weather for a gentle reminder that he's not totally in retirement.
