Eric Adams calls on DA to prosecute Rudy Giuliani

Mayor Eric Adams has urged Staten Island DA Mike McMahon to consider prosecuting ex-Mayor Rudy Giuliani for allegedly filing a false police report, to which Giuliani responded by calling for Adams to quit over the city’s crime crisis.

“[Giuliani] falsely reported a crime and the DA should take that seriously,” Hizzoner said during an appearance on the “The Daily Show” Tuesday night, where he both mocked and scorned Giuliani in the ongoing spat between the two.

“You don’t realize. You just assaulted me,” Adams deadpanned after host Trevor Noah embraced him upon entrance — a clear dig at the former mayor.

My gut tells me that the "slap" was of the kind that if it had been done to YOUR 80 year old dad -
jail would have been the only safe place FOR this moron.

It was a tap. Rudy is such a thin-skinned pansy. The “assault” in question very clearly doesn’t meet the standard established in the law which was invoked.

You identifying as a lawyer today we see.

No, sorry. Unlike you ignorati, I simply read the law in question: https://codes.findlaw.com/ny/penal-law/pen-sect-120-05.html

And I quote:

A person is guilty of assault in the second degree when:

1. With intent to cause serious physical injury to another person, he causes such injury to such person or to a third person;  or

Here is a CCTV video of the "assault". https://i.redd.it/78sjr8ybu4891.gif

If that meets that standard of "intent to cause serious physical injury...", then you too are every bit the pussy old man that Rudy is.

Heh. Pansy.

Maybe you should have read the rest of that law as item 12 states
With intent to cause physical injury to a person who is sixty-five years of age or older, he or she causes such injury to such person, and the actor is more than ten years younger than such person;  or
And looking at the video you provided you see the person to his left immediately reacting to the contact and rub the spot that was hit, so there certainly could be some force involved, thus the intent could be to do harm. That leaves the only question as to if the person striking was 10 years younger than Rudy.

"causes injury" wasn't met, unless you count Rudy's fragile ego. It was clearly a tap, not much more than a "love tap".

And as to the person rubbing his back, that is evidence that it was a stunt since Rudy is such an attention whore.

How much force is required to cause injury to an 80 year old? And what form of clairvoyance did you employ to determine that it was just a tap. One would think a tap would not have resulted in any reaction by the nearby person.

The force of the "tap" is obvious. It barely even cased Rudy to move, the move that was apparent was more the startle reflex, not from the force.

As for the reaction of the adjacent person, as I said: a stunt.
