yeah its like it wants to install the program into a E: drive not read it from the E: drive. its odd.

You should be able to install wherever you want to. Doesn't it give you an option to select the installation folder?

PS What program is there to help you play drums? I may be interested in such software.

Sounds like the program is defaulting to an E:\ drive as a recognizable drive, because on most (XP) computers D:\ is a restore drive. Go to the D:\ directory and check any config or system files and see if E:\ is anywhere. If so, change it to D:\. If not, it's probably hardcoded and your SOL.

Have you gotten a message that says "Alright, jackoff. This is a work computer, not your playtoy."
