It was a thrill tuning in ESPN's Sports Center and seeing a broadcast coming out of my hometown (50 States in 50 Days--coverage of the Calvert County Jousting Tournament). Just seeing "Port Republic, Maryland" at the bottom of the screen was good enough to turn heads. Who said nothing exciting ever happened in Port Republic? :)

Wish I could have been there.

Glad you enjoyed it. I was there and let me tell you they didn't do it justice!

The lady they interviewed kept saying things like it was good for kids to learn the discipline of horsemanship but they hardly showed any kids at all (although like 80% of the participants were under 21).

Still they did show some of the impressive "pro" jousting which is just amazing.
