ESPN Suspends Dana Jacobson

ESPN anchor Dana Jacobson has been suspended for one week for her expletive-filled, drunken rant at a roast for ESPN Radio personalities Mike Greenberg and Mike Golic at Atlantic City, N.J. on Jan. 11, the Chicago Tribune reported Wednesday.

The Press of Atlantic City said that Jacobson, who co-hosts "First Take" on ESPN2, "made an absolute fool of herself, swilling vodka from a Belvedere bottle, mumbling along and cursing like a sailor as Mike & Mike rested their heads in their hands in embarrassment."

ESPN spokesman Josh Krulewitz would not confirm to the Chicago Tribune about the suspension but said, "Her actions and comments were inappropriate and we've dealt with it."

BTW, Jacobson is single and not bad looking.

I don't think this is the end of this. One week? To think that Imus was cancelled. This is much worse than what Imus said. There's been a great injustice done to Christians, call Al and Jesse!

I was reading about this on ESPN..it's completely ridiculous...ESPN has become such a POS network...it was a ROAST! That is what happens at Roasts...If they didn't want these things to happen, why have a roast...

the ones on Comedy Central are a million times worse..I guess people at ESPN have become so PC they can't laugh....I wonder what kind of Roast they were expecting.

She has a rather large mouth, (No pun intended) but she isnt bad looking. I have a fifth of Smirnoff I would split with her.

Still her remarks were a little on the slimy side , "#### Notre Dame, #### Touchdown Jesus" is a little crude for a lady to use, but what the heck its 2008 and women use the "F" word as much as men do these days.

ESPN sucks.

I'm amazed they think they've got 7 years to make their NASCAR coverage perfect. No, they have one.

They should put Dana on NASCAR on ESPN. She can't be any worse than Jamie Little, Dave Burns, Mike Massaro, Jerry Punch, Rusty Wallace, Andy Petree and Tim Brewer.

I can't believe ESPN's keeping Jerry Punch in the booth.
