A bit over 9,000, yes, that thousands with a nine, pounds.
Range is 329 miles in a charge.
Battery alone weighs in at 2,900bs, in the same range as a Miata.
Holy crap, what a beast. But this is the halo, right? Over $110k.
/but heres the thing. This is the same platform that GM says will form the "regular Joe" Silverado EV. Even if it sheds 1,000lbs, it cant get that huge battery, which means its range will suffer. Or its cost will rise higher than GM plans. Or, they could "Bolt" it and just sell them at a loss.
