I was planning on going shopping tonight for "work" clothes since I've been wearing jeans for the past 2 years. I hate everything I'm seeing.

I cannot view it. :ohwell:

The clothes out there are pretty ugly, but then again, I don't know how others feel about their work wear other than :ohwell:.

Lerner is a great store for work attire. Kohls has a cute line by Daisy Fuentes, and another, though I can't remember the name.

Would it be innapropriate to wear something like this to the office?

IMO - it's not inappropriate if worn appropriately... Say it's a Friday.. wear it with a sport coat and slacks - Black sport coat, grey slacks, black heels...
Don it with a simple neck item... For happy hour with the crew, replace the blazer with a sweater - less stuffy... If you're going out - take off the over wear, dazzle up the neck, blah and blah...

I haven't been in Lerner in years. I'm such a non-shopper.

I personally love Ann Taylor Loft, just wish I could afford it more often.

:bubble: Goodwill, I found an Ann Taylor sweater in B-more Goodwill last summer for $2
