It is a media driven case of mass hypochondria. What I notice in my corner of the world is that it is the liberal side that is running around with their hair afire. Stepson, nephew, SIL and their side all have multiple test kits waiting to be jammed up their nose as soon as they feel a slight tickle in their throat. Their daily conversations mostly are about when they tested last, when they will test next, the results of their last tests, and the newest variant. Interestingly, not a single one has had the 'Vid.
The upside to this is that they avoid my non-mask wearing, never been tested, no more jabs self. So there is that.

I'm still pureblood and plan to stay that way. I had the China flu a month ago. I've been back to work for 2 weeks. My primary physician won't see me in office until I'm tested. I'm wasting my morning off, visiting the HD so I can get tested.

The test only tells you that the flu is present it doesn't say WUHAN.
It's been around long enough that it has morphed into many various types of flu, and yeah you probably get a version of it, but it's no longer the same WUHAN flu.
There has never been a shot or vaccine that can cure the common cold and IMO now that this flu has gone through it's various stages it will be around forever like the common cold.
IMO getting the shot is a waste of time and may actually aid the flu.
We will never know because the Pharmacy crowd is making too much money off it.
Please take this as just my opinion I am no Doctor and just a man who has noticed people having strokes, heart attacks, blood clots and noticed that Insurance companies are paying out more money to people who are dying younger. Do not think like me think for yourself, sometimes 2+2 do not make 4.
If you want the jab definitely get it. I won't be getting another.

Recent reports do seem to show people being jabbed have a much higher rate of death and hospitalization.
I get calls from CVS daily on getting a shot/booster. Nope.

The Government has information like we do, they know that kids don't need the flu shot, their young bodies are quite capable of fighting it off ..
They do not know the answers as to why the shots do not give you immunity nor do they reall know what is going to happen to those who get the shots in the future.
And yet now they are pushing Americans to stab their kids 5 and 6 years old with this shot that has no guarantee's as to it's safety.

When asked if I'm vaccinated I reply, no I'm not due to health reasons. What I want to say they can do with their jab isn't very pleasant. My doc gives me the 
, but I've got enough strikes against me. I don't want to roll those dice.

But why? Is it simply to make more money for Big Pharma, which then gets funneled to dirty politicians? To jack up their stock portfolio? We already know that our elected officials engage in insider trading, which is against the law if you or I do it. So is it simply greed motivating this?

I don't know the reason and it is a good question.
Perhaps it is just Faucci wanting to extend his 15 minutes.
My SIL was feeling ill a couple of weeks ago. Up to date on all shots & booster. She kept testing herself for days until she got a positive.
Then my BIL who's also retired from his NSA gig keeps sending texts to my wife about there's a new booster coming out in the fall. I got a flu shot last fall and after my original 2 shots won't get any boosters. She has done the same.
When they started with these shots it was get one and you won't get covid. Then it was, we never claimed that but it will keep you out of the hospital. Now after original shots & boosters people are still going to the hospital and some dying. What will be the next excuse, trust us .?

Now I am not against that but let me ask this question.
If the test does not tell you what kind of flu you have then how can they provide any evidence that the regular flu shot works. Since every sniffle today is called Wuhan or Covid, has the regular flu died and if so why get the regular flu shot?

Well that's not it.
Home tests just say positive covid. You need to go somewhere that will break it down. A few months back my son felt bad and had a test at a clinic. It came back negative for covid but positive for the flu. I don't know.

Let me know if you find an answer, I tried and didn't find it, they just said they had a test for multiple flu's and they beat around the bush about a Covid only test.
I had an appointment at the hospital this afternoon. I went in with no mask, I honestly didn't even think about it. One desk worker made a snarky comment something about "those that don't wear masks". I told them I didn't have one and I just got back from Montana that has NO restrictions or signs up.

I took one of those home tests and said I had covid a few weeks ago..I went to urgent care that night and told them that I tested positive. They never tested me another way. just accepted my word. They gave me a 5 day regimen of drugs, felt fine after 2 days. I never felt worse than having a minor cold.
