Good morning everybody. :howdy:

I have come here a couple times to ask for so type of information and I always get pretty good responses. So here we go.

What's the proper way to find secretarial/office support employment on the base? I've been sick and now I am finally better and I really need to get back to work.

Submit a bazillion resumes to a bazillion places. Be very diligent. Be on top of every job opening notification and realize that your resume will most likely be 1 of about a hundred and you must make sure you present yourself in a very professional yet "eye catching" manner in order to be noticed and considered for the position for which you applied.

Call the Department of Economic Development in Leonardtown and request a copy of the list of base contractors. They maintain a great list of contractors that are on the base, it lists the POC, address, type of work they do and approximate number of employees. This may also be available on the county web site.

I see by your green squares you didn't post in a thread about gays. :lmao:

I would get a list of base contractors and go from there, but someone already mentioned it. So, I'm going with wear a really short skirt to the interview.
