Ex boyfriend kills mother and daughter

SUMMERTON, S.C. -- Authorities say a Summerton mother and her daughter were hugging each other when the daughter's ex-boyfriend shot and killed them both.

Clarendon County Chief Deputy Joe Bradham says 24-year-old Charles Junious broke in the home the women shared early yesterday morning and killed them in the bedroom of the daughter's 14-month-old child.

Bradham says the child was not harmed.

Authorities say Junious was arrested about an hour after the shootings and charged with murder.

Bradham says Junious and the daughter broke up a few weeks ago.

The coroner's office says 19-year-old Teresa Johnson was shot in the back and head, while 49-year-old Barbara Johnson was shot in the neck and head.

This is so horrible!!! But thank God they caught the killer!!!

Got it...Thank Him ( God) if he had prevented it.

Then there would not have been anything to report..or maybe a weird note about some guy getting blasted by a bolt of lightening on a bright sunny day.

This world is so full of violence it's sickening. This is probably the same guy who said "I love you" or something else sweet about a month or so ago to the very woman he shot in the back of the head. It makes no sense.

I was editing photo's, on the phone and came back and re-read the posts..and realized what was said, it was the small "h', not the upper case "H" that threw me off for a moment..

There is a lot left unsaid in this story. We dont know why they broke up we dont know whether or not he was allowed to see his child, we dont know a lot of things. It isnt surprising to see what some people can be driven to do if hey are driven hard enough.

Take a day off sometime and sit in on some divorce hearings. Of course nothing excuses murder, but not everyone is wrapped as tight as some others.
