Experiment Time Again

I found some wings in the freezer, decided that's what I'd make for dinner. Wanted them crispy, but didn't want to set up a deep fry. After some thought, I defrosted them and put them in a ziploc with salt and roasted peanut oil, coated them good and into the oven at 450.

The roasted peanut oil is very fragrant, smells great. Hoping this is going to crisp the skin like frying.

Ok, not bad. They did come out crispy, but I overcooked the chicken in the process. I'll have to try it again, maybe broil instead of bake. Flavor was really good.

And they stuck to the no-stick pan I used.

Good try! Maybe next time take them out of the ziploc bag before baking, the plastic does tend to stick to things.

House Autry is a good breader and you can oven bake with good results.

Lightly coat the wings with breader/ shake off excess breader and place on the baking pan.

Spray with one of those nasty chemical non-stick sprays (butter flavor is the best)

Aluminum foil is your friend as far as the clean up process goes.

Toss with Texas Pete, a side of blue cheese dressing and you're done.

Deep fried is always better.
