Location: All lanes of US 40 Alt at Dogwood Ln, Middletown, Frederick County

Narrative:

Frederick Barrack troopers are currently at the scene of a two vehicle personal injury collision in the area of US 40 Alt at Dogwood Ln, Middletown. A head on collision occurred between a Toyota RAV4 and a Nissan Sentra. The adult female driver of the RAV4 was transported by ambulance. The adult male driver and adult female passenger of the Sentra were transported by MSP helicopter. At this time all lanes of US 40 Alt are closed for the collision investigation. Traffic is being diverted with the assistance of the State Highway Administration at Hollow Rd and Ridge Rd. Update to follow.



UPDATE: 12/21/2019 @ 2030 hrs

Crash Reconstruction has completed their on scene investigation and all vehicles have been cleared from the scene. The roadway is now open to regular traffic movement.
