I read this and I still don't understand why the show and related are being sued.

Sounds like the kids were pissed that the house was deeded in the "foster" parents names and they won't "benefit" from it....

Because people will sue anyone over anything.

My guess is that their argument is that this house wouldn't have been built if it weren't for the fact that the 5 kids were going to be living there. In a sense the TV show "promised" them a house that they aren't living in and someone else is benefiting from.
