I think it shows how forgiving and gentle that animals are. It is man that is the threat. It shows in the dwindling numbers of all animals except for man. It, also, shows that man has no respect for nature, and then they want to whine when an encounter goes bad. How about the numerous encounters with mountain lions lately in Maryland? That tells me that the habitats of all animals are being compromised by humans, and animals are moving into human territory; which makes the animals at risk. There is plenty of room. Humans can be dumb. And, please, don't anyone say it has to do with global warming. That has been a crock of poop from the beginning. The animals are being pushed out of their habitat. Please don't kill them.

And as Vrai said, as long as it happens to them before they spawn......Why mess with such fantastic creatures? Just watching them is cool enough.
