Extremely Hyper Puppy

Does anyone know if they have medication for extremely hyper dogs? I know that puppies are hyper, I have owned plenty of them but my female Husky Pup is VERY hyper. I have another male Husky Pup that is not nearly as hyper as my female pup. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Before you think about medicating your dog I would look at a few other issues, first of all being is she getting enough exercise every day. Which should probably be at least 2/3 walks per day (of at least 20-30 mins) and if you have either a fenced yard or an area where she should run, the opportunity run around off leash like an idiot and get out some pent up energy. You could also look at her diet, if shes being fed a whole bunch of "not so good" dog food and not getting enough exercise, she probably is just being fed more energy than she needs or can expend. Husky's are working dogs and need alot of exercise, give her a job also, it's what she was bred for!

I've seen dog treats called Zen Doggie that if fed over a period of time are supposed to help calm a hyper dog down. I think they're made with chamomile.
Those in combination with lots of runs and excerise might help.
