Anyone else planing to see this movie/has already seen it? We're going on Sunday. I think it looks good,but at 2 and a half hours run time,I sure hope they can keep the pace going.

I want to see that so bad, looks like a tear jerker for sure (I'm a cryer, hehe)...had no idea it was so long though.

You're about the third person who has told me that they haven't even heard of this movie - and I've noticed myself that it really hasn't been promoted much.
It was a very good book. The book left some things unanswered though. I hope the movie clears them up.

The movie gets crap reviews, which is a shame because it is a good story

Yea, but reviews on Rotten are left by the average person too. The majority say the kid's performance sucks and doesn't convey the character, the movie is too long, etc
