For the people who use this, is it better to get the interior thingie for your windshield or the exterior thingie for the tag? Is it removeable and reuseable if for instance, you need to replace your windshield?

I have the interior one and it comes with velcro to attach it to the windshield. Used to switch it out from car to car but have gotten a second one so this way it's not forgotten on trips. Makes road trips much easier.

I have the inside box (I was afraid that someone may be able to steal the one for the tag). I have a friend who has the one for the tag, I think both work the same just if you have lead in your windshield you can't have the one on the inside. Mine came with 2 sets of plastic velcro with a very strong adhesive. Mine came with an extra set of the "velcro" that you can use if you need to replace your windshield (hubby just did this). You can also use it on multiple vehicles, you just have to register them on the website first. They actualy sent me 2 b/c when I signed up I registered 2 vehicles. We don't travel far or often but I love not having to waiting in the toll lines and the fact that the money does not expire and will reload as needed.

I have it on the inside of my windshield, love it, works every time, it can be removed and reattached if needed. :yay:

@ 2" X 4", I have it on the passenger side of the rear view mirror and can't see it from where I drive.

Thanks. I think I'm going to get them for my vehicles.

I'd recommend the interior mounted version. It's easily removable (it's velcro mounted) and less likely to get stolen if it's on the inside of the vehicle.

EZPass is definately the way to go if you drive anywhere up and down I-95 like I do!

Less likely but still possible. My sister's was stolen out of her truck when she left it parked at BWI while we went to Phoenix in February for several days. :ohwell: My tip would be to hide it if you're not actively using it even if you're only parking for a short time.

My sister drives quite a bit and couldn't live without hers. :yay:

Good advice. Since it comes off so easily, keep it in the glove box when you're not driving.

I have 2 that go on the outside. I started with these because I would rent cars and didn't want to worry about the windshields. But I have used them inside as well by placing them on the dashboard. It is really good when I need to loan them to another car who doesn't have one and we are going on a group trip. I have never had it stolen off the car.

They are the way to go which ever one you get. They are good from VA thru ME and really speed up your travel time.

Plus 1 for the inside, easy to switch between cars, just remember if you do use it on multiple cars, all cars must be registered with EZ pass also. Doesn't cost more, just a way of telling you authorized the use of it for that vehicle. You can signup, order and view all account information online.
