I love reading about all my friends & relatives' goings on. Heck, I think at times we all post about our latest passion a lot. I have some who post recipes, some who post about animals or their kids. Some who post about their politics. My one niece posts lost of selfies.

It's so easy to scroll down & change the view if I want or just hide something from my newsfeed.

One of my "friends" deleted me...and I just noticed. She was one of the very few people I invited to my wedding so that tells you how close we were at one point. I am so offended and my mind is blown.

I confronted her...

Her reasoning... "your snide remark when I announced I was pregnant."


My "snide remark" was: "Wow!! Congratulations!!!"



I need to learn to not take this chit personally but I am pretty upset right now. I meant it as a genuine congratulations. But whatever.

If she is going to flip out over THAT, just say good riddance and be done with it. WHY on earth would you WANT to be friends with a person like that? I'll be your buddy and if you say Wow Congratulations to me when I say I'm prego, I'm ok with that (actually it would be a miracle since I am minus a few essential parts). I was just getting ready to tell Vrai that if she friends her... she'll hide her feed in a week. Lately, she is on some picture kick. Her boys pick on her terribly about how they go to their news feed and see

I haven't friend requested many people since I've been on just because I hate to make others feel obligated and I get butthurt easily. Well, not really but if somebody didn't accept my friend request I think I would.

Since we're all whining about FB people, WHY do all the critter rescues want me (well I don't have a FB page but the rescue does) to accept their friend request? HELLO we are in the same business - trying to find homes for critters. It's bad enough that I get emotional and worried over all the critters in our care that haven't been placed, then you want me to read all about the critters you have available also? All the DIRE needs of those about to be put down every day? I'm sorry but I can't handle that much emotional stress each day. So if I remove you or don't accept your friend request, please understand.

I like FB. Played and play a couple games on there. Friend people in the game and sometimes the stuff the post on FB is not what I want others to see so I just hide their posts. Have met a few that I consider friends now. One guy lives in Northern GA and offered to put my son up if he makes it that far until I can come get him.

I love Facebook, as it allows me to catch up on friends that I don't see that often on a normal basis.

I actually read my friends' posts much more often than I actually post my own status.

But I have absolutely no problem hiding friends of mine who over share their daily details, or go on political rants that I find disagreeable, or over post animal photos. Grrrrrr.
