Has anyone been to the Family Place to Play Fun Center in Waldorf? I was just curious what the experiences have been. I've heard about it, but never been there myself.

Thanks!

Just visited there this weekend

A friend had a birthday party there over the weekend for her child and my kids (ages 7, 5 and 3) all had a blast there! It was a bit chaotic with having two parties going on at once, so I do suggest they may need to change their policies in the future regarding groups so as not to have "older" groups mixing in with "younger" groups, but overall it was a really nice place and run very well.

We took our kids there (age 3 and 6) to play one evening. They loved it! It's a lot better than Chuck E Cheese. All my kids do now is ask me almost everyday if they can go back there.

We went there for a birthday party about two weeks ago. It probably is a great place on the weekdays, but the saturday afternoon/early evening we were there, it was crazy packed with kids. I have a son that is a little over two and while they have one moon bouce thing designated for ages 4 and under, there were still older kids in there, so my son couldnt get in there unless I asked the older kids to get out. It was very chacotic and small in my opinion (it was our first only probably only time going there).

I've been there with my 5 year old about 7 times for birthday parties. The kids love it. If you are going to drop in to play and they have a party going on, it may be crowded. If you are planning to have a party there, other kids could be there playing. So it's a hit or miss on the crowd, but worth going. I also just had my daughter's birthday party at Bounce About off Henry Ford Circle. We chose this place because we had been to the other place so many times and also because they have private parties so other kids are not allowed to come in and play if there is a party scheduled. Both places have moon bounces and obstacle courses. The Family Fun Place has 2 hard slides that the kids love and one of the platform type things you can climb up in. Bounce About has all inflatable items and slides. Try them both!

Why go all the way to Waldorf when there is a place like that in Lexington Park? I take my kids (7 and 3) to the JumpYard once a week. The kids have a blast and are worn out afterward. It is on Great Mills Rd. by the Family Dollar. If I don't have to go all the way to Waldorf, I don't go!
