Famous Dave's BBQ in Waldorf, MD

I went last night, had a blast. The staff in the bar area are all really cool and fun. I recommend anyone to go there and eat up some yummy bbq. But, know that your wait could be as long as 40mins as it seems everyone was waiting for this location to open.



Oh and be forewarned that if you get bbq on your shirt and one of the staff notices they are going to call the attention of the whole area and have people for you. Because as they say, "It aint real bar-b-que unless it gets on you"

Then they give you soda water or tonic so you can dab the spot so it doesn't stain. Next time I am getting a bib.

You won't believe it but I heard about Duff's comments last night while in the restaurant.

I don't think Waldorf is ghetto, I think it just has a few bad apple trees.

Bannister is ghetto. Acton Lane is ghetto. Lancaster is ghetto. The mall is ghetto. Ashford Oaks is a nice development.

Waldorf was actually my target for buying a house. Unfortunately, anything I would have wanted was out of my price range. I bought right at the time stuff was going up in 2004.

Friends of mine who live in Waldorf bought there homes for a steal at what it costs today. I think I would have been really happy there. I am the type that need the proper balance of ghetto and suburbs.
