These things are 100 feet long, and 30 feet tall. They are intended to both stack both stages of Starship and literally catch them from a hover when they return to earth. They are suspended from an offshore oil rig machine called a drawworks that was designed to rapidly adjust the suspended oil drill for height as the rig moved with the ocean.

Having witnessed a couple of Space X launches and subsequent crash landings, that definitely leaves an impression on you. The awesome power of the liftoff was spectacular.

What would have been better is if NASA never took their foot off the gas after the moon landings. Think how far advanced they'd be with their technologies. Glad to see private interests get involved in all things space exploration related.
