FANTASY CHALLENGE: Richmond!

Okay, is ANYBODY staying behind? I won't be able to score because I'll be down in Richmond and then covering ARCA for RFTW after that.

Talladega didn't shuffle anything up considering everyone was almost shut out.

The top 5 at 'Dega, shocking: Shrubbie, Juan Pablo Montoya, Hamlin, David Ragan and Brian Vickers.

I'm going with Junyer again. THIS IS HIS RACE! And, you better believe Richmond will light up when he does win. But first, the standings.

Harvick29's still on top. I'm still ahead of OHG :moon: and Nacho still has a firm grip on last place. :yay:
  1. Harvick29 - 225
  2. Andy - 215
  3. OldHillcrestGuy - 195
  4. Baja28 - 165
  5. clevalley - 155
  6. Gumbo - 145
  7. Toppick08 - 120
  8. Nachomama - 110
And my picks are:
  1. Dale Earnhardt, Jr.
  2. Kevin Harvick
  3. Denny Hamlin
  4. David Ragan* (trust me on this folks)
  5. Clint Bowyer
Good luck,
Andy

Go ahead and pick anybody. I'm not taking the time or effort to police this "Pick 'em Once" rule now that just about everybody has a win. Just, don't pick them FOR THE WIN. Consider the rule changed.

Junyer's a good pick. He's got a winning history at RIR, and I've had a gut feeling that he'll win this race.

This same gut feeling led me to believe, month in advance, that Bill Elliott would win at Miami in 2001, that Harvick would sweep at Phoenix in 2005, that Harvick would win at the Brickyard, and that Mark Martin would win the Coke 600 in 2002.

Not to mention I have the most wins in Fantasy this year. It's hard to argue with that kind of record. :yay:

I've felt this way for months, THIS IS JUNYER'S RACE! I'll be bringing ear plugs to. I never use them or need them at the races, so just note I'm not bringing them because of the cars. I'm bringing them for when Junyer Nation breaks out and screams victrory at Richmond! Oh yeah, it'll be loud. :killingme:killingme:killingme

:hrmph:

It's all good.

So when is everybody rolling down to Richmond? I'm leaving around noon on Friday. :yahoo:
Still waiting for otter to get me my tickets. :tap:

Probably around 9 on Friday. Still don't have everything planned out the way I'd hoped. Next few evenings should be interesting. :dead:

Hamlin... To win at home
Burton
Gordon
Johnson
Junior

Considering NASCAR is so good about having "fairy tale" finishes, it wouldn't surprise me if Hamlin won.

Hamlin will run well, but I don't think Junyer or Harvick can be denied on this weekend. Harvick and June Bug for the win this week. Hamlin, Gordon and Montoya battle next weekend.

Oh, BTW, Montoya is in the all star race in a few weeks. That's going to be VERY entertaining. :killingme

Two Hendrick, 3 Gibbs. Nice way of thinking outside the box. :yay: :sarcasm:

Is someone a little desperate to catch me? :roflmao: You might as well kiss my azz, because that's all you're gonna be seeing. :moon:

Hey OHG, is it fair to ban Nacho and toppick from picking Harvick? It seems like everytime they do, he gets swept up in an accident or Todd Berrier ####s up.

Those 2 can pick Harvick all they want, it will be a cold day somewhere :lmao: before I pick him in my top 5, not a big fan of his.
Not desperate, but I will catch you before the season is over.:duel:
Better take your umbrella to Richmond its going to rain Saturday night, boy did I get soaked last year at Dover and had to stay over for the race to run on Monday.

:dramaqueen: Fine, be that way.

You all be hating on Harvick and Montoya. Yes, I know it's the irony of the century that those are my two favorite drivers (next to the old man, Mark). :killingme

Last year was crazy for me, between Harvick and Montoya :duel: and Harvick and Martin running a photofinish in the Great American Race. :yahoo:

It ain't looking good. Spring race has been rained out more often than not in the last several years. I don't mind the race on a Sunday but it makes traffic a biatch.

We're heading down Saturday morning.

I remember selling my tickets Saturday last year. I'm head down Friday, and I hope it doesn't rain; I have to be back in the county Sunday afternoon before 4. :ohwell:
