This weekend, the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series heads to The Monster Mile, a track notorious for producing wild finishes. In 1994, Mark Martin slammed the wall while holding a big lead with 6 miles to go. In 2004, The Monster Mile repaid Mark when rookie Kasey Kahne wrecked handing the lead, and the win, to Mark Martin. And just last year, the race saw a wacky and wild finish, when the antics of The Busch Brothers caused a huge wreck and a wild finish paving the way for Carl Edwards to win.
The standings are tighter than ever. After a few bad races (where Andy's picks keep slamming the wall or getting wrecked by a Shrub ), Andy's lead has diminished. That has led to a two-horse race for the head of the pack, and down south toppick has managed to keep himself above the nachozone.
