Farmstead Kennels

Does anyone have any knowledge about Farmstead Kennels? I am thinking of boarding 2 puppies there for 2 weeks while my husband and I go on vacation. Also do you know about a pet sitting service that you take your dogs to their house to be cared for?

We adopteed both from SMAWL. One is a pit bull/boxer mix (about 9 mos.)and the other is a yellow lab/hound mix (about 6-7 mos.) I guess after some posts I've read I should be concerned about the yellow lab/hound mix staying at the kennel. They do have a tendency to run away.

Try Bone Voyage in Mechanicsville...their area is fenced, kennels are kept clean.

Check out Countryside's Pet Paradise kennels on Rt 4 in lLeonardtown. The kennel is newly renovated and has fenced outside exercise areas. It is very clean and spacious.

You should just give them a call on 301-475-2449 and drop by for a tour.

I'm glad you asked this question devenny. We're going away at the end of July for a few days and will need a kennel. I pass by the one on Rt.4 everyday. I was thinking of checking that place out. If you go, let me know what you think. Good luck.

I have used Farmstead. My dogs seemed to love it. They were outside playing when i went to pick them up. I will use them again.
