Driver: Vehicle #1 Savanna Notto 18 yo Female
Vehicle #2 Melissa Phelps 43 yo Female

Narrative:
On the above date and time Troopers from the Maryland State Police Frederick Barrack responded to a serious motor vehicle collision occurring on N/B Rt 15 @ Orndorrf Rd. The collision investigation revealed that Vehicle #1, operated by Savanna Notto ,18, of Gettysburg, PA, was stopped in the center crossover S/B Rt 15 @ Orndorff RD. Vehicle #2, operated by Melissa Phelps 43 of Frederick, MD, was traveling N/B Rt 15 in lane #1. As Vehicle #2 approached the intersection of N/B RT 15 and Orndorff Rd. Vehicle #1 entered N/B lane #1 from the crossover attempting to continue N/B on RT 15. Vehicle#2 struck Vehicle #1 on the right front as it entered the N/B Lane which caused Vehicle #2 to lose control. Vehicle #2 traveled across the N/B lanes onto the right shoulder and continued into the drainage ditch. Vehicle #2 then overturn on the driver side. The driver of Vehicle #2, who was not seatbelted, was partially ejected and suffered fatal injuries. The driver of Vehicle #1 was not injured in the collision. The collision investigation is being conducted by M/T David Greenwood. Charges are pending.
