The Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is investigating a fatal motorcycle collision that occurred Saturday evening in the City of Seat Pleasant. The deceased rider is 30-year-old Carlos Deangelo Brown of Upper Marlboro.
On July 17, 2021, at approximately 5:25 pm, officers with the Seat Pleasant Police Department responded to the 6200 block of Central Avenue for a collision involving a motorcycle and a car. Brown was heading eastbound on Central Avenue. The involved car was attempting to make a left turn from westbound Central Avenue when the motorcycle struck its passenger side. Brown was transported to the hospital and pronounced dead a short time later. The driver of the vehicle was not injured.
