PGPD Fatal Shooting in Langley Park Under Investigation

Detectives with our Homicide Unit are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred in Langley Park on Monday. The victim is 18-year-old Cristopher Sanchez of Langley Park.

On May 17, 2021, at approximately 5:30 pm, officers responded to a reported shooting in the 8000 block of New Hampshire Avenue. Sanchez was located outside suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

Detectives are working to determine a motive and identify the suspect(s) in this case.
