Gary, I don't think this could ever by a truly answerable question because loving a father and loving a mother are two different 'loves' and therefore not measureable against each other. That would be like asking, "Do you love your son more or your daughter more?" The love I have for my son is different than the love I have for my daughter but that doesn't mean I love one more than the other.

I don't love either of my parents..So I didn't vote.

I don't think emotions can be quantified as each relationship is unique with its own intricacies.

My son loves his dad and I equally, respects us equally. He is emotionally closer to me but that doesn’t make him any less devoted to his dad.

When asked to choose which parent he wants to live with, he chose me but that’s because I can provide an environment for him that is compatible to his personality and his dad cannot.

Ed Zachary. If my son wants to cuddle he goes to Mom. If he wants to play catch, learn camping skills, or needs help with his musicianship he comes to me.

If my daughter wants help with crochet or baking she goes to Mom. If she wants help with homework she comes to me.

My love for them is not unequal, it's just different. I believe the same is true for their love of me and my wife.
