Apollo went to the vet today and has gained almost 3 lbs.

Me: Um, well, he hasn't had a haircut in awhile so maybe that's some of the weight...?

So now he only gets 1/2 C of chow a day.

My granddog is the same way, he has so much fur it looks like he is heavier than he is. When my daughter gets his haircut, he looks like he lost 20 lbs. I wish I could do that! Actually though, when she and King were living with us, she actually accused me of, um...well okay, I did sneak a few extra snacks to him, but honestly, what grandmother doesnt spoil her grandkids a little. Besides that, we all have a tendency to put on a few pounds in the winter.
