His personal life's a bit weird (well, after his relationship with Mia Farrow ended), but I've always loved his movies, the comedies and the dramas (his last movie, Match Point, was excellent). They're definitely aquired tastes, though, and most people I know hate his style.

Match Point's a major change of pace for Allen. It's not a comedy, it's not neurotic, and it's not set in New York. Instead, it's a romantic thriller set in London (starring Scarlett Johansson). It was nominated for an Academy Award or two. I loved it, personally. If you do see it, I hope you like it.

My favorite actress is by far Katherine Hepburn. My favorite actors are Harrison Ford and Clint Eastwood (who can also double as a favorite director). Favorite directors are probably Alfred Hitchcock, Francis Ford Coppola, and John Huston.
