FBI history

Just so we know, that while the FBI has a stellar history in nailing big time crooks - in some areas, they, as one person put it - MANAGE crime. They pursue whales, big fish and let lower tiered criminals go either unpunished or lightly punished - and then, NEVER get the big fish.

But they're also not above petty, political stuff.

This is recent - but - I came across THIS just the other day -

I am sure if I were to just sit here and sift through web pages, I could be here all day. There's one FBI that finds and catches serial killers and guys like the Unabomber - and there's THIS FBI. Petty, childish - J. Edgar level stuff.

There was a time when I thought FBI, CIA, etc were serious people with above average education and maturity. Then Donald Trump came down that escalator and they all jumped on Twitter to reveal their real selves.

The texts between Strzok and whatsherface were below 7th grade childishness. John Brennan is an unglued barbarian. It's not only that they have such an irrational hatred of Trump, it's how they express it. Just petty juvenile absurd.

Celebrities, sure - they're childish, self-absorbed, and mostly illiterate. But the people who run our national and international law agencies??? It's easy to laugh at them, but they are terrifying. These big lumbering halfwit beasts who can - and will - crush you just for kicks.

I knew about the petty vindictiveness of J. Edgar Hoover, but now the mentality of these coarse vulgar puerile thugs is right there in the open in their own words.

STILL feel that way about our military, firefighters, first responders and most rank and file law enforcement. At least, the kind that when they hear a gun go off - they run TO the gunshot.

I think the thing is - Trump was the first true outsider to EVER set foot in the Oval Office. He couldn't be managed. If he lost an election, he wasn't "done" - he had a career before politics. He didn't do things the way they did.

I'm trying to think of an example - imagine if you're working a fairly cushy job, several years to retirement - and a new guy comes in and makes it known that underperformers WILL BE FIRED without any kind of severance or anything. OUT. Oh, you will bet the UNION will have something to say about that person. The rank and file will try to destroy him. Because he's threatening their way of life and the way they do things.

Trump was like that. He might make deals, but unlike politicians, he was perfectly willing to walk away from one, whereas people who depend on a political career WILL make a bad deal just to say they DID one. He won't suck up to our enemies, and certainly won't to our allies.

I think of it differently.

You're a Borough Commander in NYC where most of your staff are on the take and making big money dealing in graft and corruption, kicking back up to you. Suddenly you get a new Commissioner who vows to shut down your criminal operation and expose you .....

I don't think these people are merely lazy or under-performing; I think they are engaged in illegal activity to pad their own pockets. Drugs, child sex trafficking, bribery, espionage......

It'll come out at some point - it already is - then all the scoffers snarking about tinfoil hats can ESAD.

Saw a comedian this morning talking about conspiracy theories. He said it's not a logical to claim they are all false. That would require the government to be batting 1000 and be fully transparent. The government at least makes an effort to do what's best for everyone and to keep the masses in line. Having a kid he knows that to keep that kid acting right he has to lie to him all the time. Imagine having 300 million kids to keep in line.

Imagine having a 1,000,000 national parents that are far worse than any of the kids.

Imagine bringing drug runners and sex traffickers into your home because they're kicking back to you, and telling your child that the swarthy stranger bagging up meth and making off with their young friends isn't really there, it's all in his imagination, and PS he's a racist POS because he noticed and mentioned it.

That comedian is a boob and you can tell him I said so. He may be a child needing to be kept in line but I am not.

My thing about "conspiracy theories" are that so many hinge on LACK OF DATA. For example, the buzz about Trump folders that are marked "return to staff" - and they're empty. OMIGOD. The "theories" were that they HAD something, but it was sold to our ENEMIES!

(Stupid observation but - if you were going to sell info to enemies - why would you keep an empty folder where such data USED to be? Who does that?).

I have no perception of the average FBi agent being a crook and on the take.
IMO most FBI people are good people, but like in any other job there are those there who would screw their mother and sell out their best friends for that next promotion. I worked with some people like this. So anxious for that next step up they don't care who they step on to get it. Unfortunately they are the ones getting those promotions.
The leadership of the FBI has sold out their fellow workers, sold out their integrity, their own morals and the citizens of the United States for political gain and promotion to high office.
The Democrats love these guys for that reason, and they use them because they are ass-lickers willing to be used.
