I am no defender of kiddie porn fans but, this is a little out of bounds IMO.

To hell with the sickos, but what if you were surfing around and clicked it accidentally? If the links are clearly labeled and there's no chance of inadvertent clicking, I'm all for it.

Hmm you could post the link in a public forum and have raids going off all over SOMD


this is not good:

There's no evidence the referring site was recorded as well, meaning the FBI couldn't tell if the visitor found the links through Ranchi or another source such as an e-mail message.

so you could have posted the link anywhere .....

according to the article unless posted elsewhere, the accused was on the web site where people hanging out that are know to traffic in Kiddie Porn and the link was offering up sick stuff ..... so it still seems shady on the part of the GOV .....

.... but it is analogous to being in a neighborhood known where drugs are sold being arrested for talking to someone ..... this guy is a drug dealer so by talking to him you must want drugs to ....
