St Marys sheriff dept did that to a friend of mine years ago, wrong apartment, she happened to be in the shower at the time so they pulled her out only to find out oops wrong door.

This is probably why they want to disarm the citizenry - so we don't shoot them when they **** up and come busting through our door in the middle of the night.

That's when the innocent resident gets shot and killed. Happened to a 80 year old woman who thought they were breaking in. The busted the door down, saw her with a shotgun and blew her away.

Training ops in an occupied hotel? What could go wr.......ohwaitnevermind. I would love to see the checklist. If there are not three independent repetitive steps to prevent exactly this someone screwed up. I'll bet there were three checks, and they simply asked the same person three times.

Oh, and Delta guy should get a nice check in addition to the apology. Having some faint inkling of what happened, it had to be terrifying to him. Folks who break into your room cuff you and throw you in the shower are way past law enforcement rules, so in his mind, he was probably gonna die. There would have been no "Hello, Agent Smith from the Boston office." It would have been bag over the head and rough treatment with maximum volume to shock the person they were there to train, some operator who would be hard to startle and put up a fight. Not Pilot Bob. Like taking your cab driver and putting him into the first 15 minutes of SERE without the classroom portion.
