My dad sent this to me.

My first inclination was to say, "Feed the right amount of good quality food and take a brisk walk once a day." Then my belly got in the way of the keyboard, so I'll just pass this along.

:yeahthat: But then I remembered we had a dog that was obese...and we tried everything to make her lose weight. She was a stray (beagle mix) and she had an obsession with food. She once chewed through a wooden drawer to get at a whole bag of hershey kisses. She ate them all and pooped out the wrappers....she was fine. I swear that dog was neurotic...

Anyways, we tried Fit & Trim dog food, exercise, mixing 1/2 the normal amount of dog food with some rice, the green bean diet, NOTHING worked. We eventually had to have her put to sleep because when she got older she got bad arthritis.
