Dear Dems,
You did state that New Years Eve was on a Monday this year, and we know Monday is a Holiday. Maybe some were just confuseded.

Dear PJ, I dont' recall stating New Years EVE was on a Monday, nor do I recall saying New Years Eve was a Federal Holiday - the last part being what started the crap flying. Here's what I stated - it states New Years Day being a Monday.

"I thought that was because most folks get off Christmas Eve and Christmas Day... Christmas Eve was a Sunday so folks didn't want to be jipped their 2 days off so folks got Monday and Tuesday off. On New Years Eve, I don't think alot of places consider that a holiday so its still just the one day off (New Years Day)... and most places are closed on Monday but open again for Tuesday. Hope that helped some. "

I stated the one day off was for New Years DAy and I stated it was a Monday :shrug: :banghead:
