St. Mary's government now has an RSS feed for the latest 911 calls:

St. Mary's CAD

Most browsers will present this in human readable format, but not all.

Not sure about the wisdom of publishing people's full address, but it is online for public access at this time.

is this something new that just started today or can you go back and see previous days?

RSS feeds are typically just the last xx (usually 10-20) entries in their system.

Browsers like Firefox will put them in a nice human readable format. Google Chrome, surprisingly, will not make RSS look readable. Major disappointment there, since it excels in many other areas.

There are all kinds of RSS readers out there, from Microsoft Outlook to Google Reader. The idea is you use a reader to aggregate all of your favorite feeds into one place so you can see the *latest* without actually having to visit all of your favorite sites.

In the case of this 911 feed from the County, it is the only public source for this data. So, if you want to know what is happening, you'll have to monitor this RSS feed or the radio scanner.

I guess the site is down, or I am not doing something right because the same data has been up there since last Thursday.
