With the damage being done to the Fla. winter crops, (citrus, strawberrys, peppers, etc) prices are all ready going up ( fast) on speculation of the actually costs when the damage assessment has been done.
Example:

Here are examples of produce price per pound rises here over only the past week.
Green bell peppers: $.79 last week, now $1.39
Zucchini & summer squash: $.79 last week, now $1.39
Green beans: $1.49 last week, now $2.49
Strawberries: $3.98 last week, now $4.98

Go buy your frozen orange/ citrus juices NOW and freeze them long..as the prices wont drop for several months!!

It's Gore's fault! He said the earth was warming and so the farmers planted like they never had before. Gore needs to be jailed for fraud!!!

You have it all wrong. The price increases you have seen in the SOMD area are due to someone mentioning Smow.
