Early Christmas Shopping - Yes, all hell will break loose.

Days in the news - 60 - I think the timing will be Executive Order Amnesty first followed by the Grand Jury Indictment announcement. I think Ferguson will be the chosen topic for at least two months solid so that we have a new shiney news object to focus on rather than the looming negative consequences that will result from the amnesty.

Of course there will be riots no matter what the decision of the grand jury. Just look at the positions the woman took in the linked video. First she's suspicious of the white prosecutor because he didn't allowed Baden to testify. Then she's suspicious of the white prosecutor because he did allow Baden to testify. Then she's suspicious of the white prosecutor because it's obvious the white prosecutor only allowed Baden to testify because on of the five grand-jurors demanded it Then she's suspicious of the white prosecutor because he brought Baden in last to overshadow all the earlier testimony just as the five grand-jurors begin their deliberations. She's making the case that the white prosecutor cannot be trusted to bring in the right decision (that the white police officer maliciously and with premeditation murdered the black yuff) no matter what. And she has no connection with Ferguson or the Browns (except the that irresistible excess of melanin)

This Grand Jury is a joke.
IMO they cannot indict and they are frightened to say that.

Damned shame when a Grand Jury is being intimidated by a mob.

No indictment, although I put it at about a 20% chance they will, figuring that lets them off the hook far causing the ECL, figuring that a jury trial will exonerate the officer, so they don't feel guilty about indicting an innocent man.

ECL? Oh hell yes. Buddy and I were talking about it at lunch, and we agreed, no way in hell will there not be looting.

60 days easy. Might be 30, barring the media attention drawing the standard race baiters with figurative cans of gas for the flames.

The word out last week was they would announce it on Monday--no announcement, too busy preparing for the riots.
The gun stores are selling guns like hot cakes.
The Governor is saying Riots will not be tolerated. LMAO as if they have intention to stop it.
There is only one way to stop a riot and that is with superior strength, and the willingness to use it.
If the residents or others get fired up enough for riots they will not be stopped until they run their course.

It's fine that you believe they are still looking at evidence. I feel they are holding off hoping the heat will die down.

Who is they that announced it? The media? Other people speculating that the decision should be done by now? No prosecutor who is working on the grand jury announced that! Don't be mis-lead by the media on this process. There was testimony by a forensic medical examiner last week. That isn't going to be heard and a decision rendered.

It seems to me you are buying into the media hype who are trying to create a buzz about this, rather than letting the system work.

To be fair, in the press conference I saw the words were, "we expect there to be...". There was no promise of an announcement.
Honestly I don't know if they are still looking at evidence, discussing the evidence or simply twiddling their thumbs.
But what I do believe to be true, is the words were, "we expect". There was not hard and fast date announced.
