Does anyone know how long they live? Mine passed last night......:bawl:
We had him for about 2 to 3 years and he was full grown when we got him.

He didn't act sick or anything, so I am thinking maybe from old age???

I just don't know......

What's one more bird?
For most ferrets (Marshall ferrets, most commonly found in most petstores) I would expect 5-7 years, for ferrets from a private breeder I've heard of animals living into their early teens. Marshall ferrets are bred for both lab and pet sales, luck of the draw for the ferret where he ends up :( A GOOD private breeder works hard to breed healthy animals that aren't riddled by the common health problems of ferrets, Marshalls seems to breed for quanity.
I'm so sorry about your guy :( We lost our ferret Justin a few years back - he was a Marshall's and was about 7 when he passed, they really are neat little critters. Again, I'm so sorry for your loss :(

Have had mine about 4 years now. He is still spunky and hilarious! He was 9 months old when I got him.

I'm sorry your furbaby died. :huggy: :flowers:

Sorry to hear about your ferret. I have 2 I am trying to sell because they don't get enough attention from my daughter. Send me a PM if interested.
