I hope they are better built than the Perry class frigates. They were the Yugo of the US fleet back when Reagan was pushing for a 600 ship navy. They got 50 of those for around $65 million a pop.

The new ones sure are pricey. $900 million each.

Several are still doing good service with foreign navies..three are based right where I'm currently working in Egypt. Still rocking along..still carrying Standard Missiles.

Most likely a brown water navy. Probably best if they don't go too far from home port.
