Delaware State Police announced Thursday that the incident did not legally qualify as a hate crime, Delaware Online reported. Sgt. Richard D. Bratz, communications director for the state police, told the outlet that a hate crime involves an act that targets a specific person based on a protected class, such as race or gender.

The noose found in the aisle of Home Depot did not appear to be targeted toward anyone in particular. The customer who tied the noose came forward to say that he or she had been in the store shopping for ropes for work. The customer was building a canopy for someone who wanted to decorate it with various “rope knots.” The customer tied the noose but left it in the aisle and continued shopping.

Sometime later, two sisters found the noose and began screaming, according to Delaware Online. The manager asked another employee to help the women since he was assisting another customer, but ran over when they began screaming his name. The manager told Delaware Online that the women cursed at him when he tried to assist them. The sisters posted a photo of the noose online.

Days later, a store manager reported to police that he had been threatened over the phone by two women and a man. The manager said the people called him a racist and cursed at him, according to Delaware Online.

Bratz said the people who made the threatening phone calls “absolutely” could be charged with harassment.

The sisters who found the noose previously said they would lead a demonstration outside the store.

They know its not a crime yet they are going to make false accusations and lead a demonstration anyway. They might as well have pulled a Jussie and faked the whole thing.

There's a bigger mistake. This is not "snowflake culture".
The revolutionary's handbook advises to destroy a culture it needs to be constantly criticized, demonized with the intent to demoralize the group. This is the Nazi's playbook. Look at what the Nazi did to the Jews and compare it to what the leftist revolutionaries are doing to American culture.
A claiming a noose on the floor a hate crime publicizes hate and is targeted at demoralizing Americans and their pride in their past.
Don't trivialize what the leftists are doing. This is just a small skirmish a serious and potentially deadly revolution.

The screaming was to set the stage for a lawsuit against Home Depot. Whether or not the item was a "noose", the manager was "insensitive" for not responding immediately and taking steps to help the two women while they suffered extreme emotional distress. I predict a settlement of at least 100k per female. You and I will see that in increased costs the next time we have a DIY project. Thanks a lot snowflakes.

    I noted that it took place at Home Depot. The Home Depot founder is in the crosshairs of the leftists ever since he came out and spoke of his support for Trump and the money he is donating. There are no coincidences. And if Home Depot is stupid enough to pay off those evil witches, so be it. Their money to do as they please.
