another question, film developing - not printing - would the quality be the same anywhere, or could i get the developing done at wal mart and then send the negatives to seattle filmworks to be printed? or should i get seattle to do both developing and printing?

I too dealt with Seattle Film Works many years ago. Are they even still in business??? Anyway, they excelled in the
film developing. They would take a roll of film and return you negatives and prints. In the same run, they could also give you mounted transparencies, and if you specified, a diskette with digital copies, so you had everything. Turnaround time was only a few days. It's been many years since I used them, so I would not have a recommendation for using them again for something important like a wedding.
I'll bet Ritz or similar have options like that, giving you digital from film.
