Obama paid his final respect to Major General Greene by staying away from the funeral.

But yet, Obama found time to meet with Bergdahl's family in the Rose Garden. Our president is such a patriot, it makes my heart swell with pride.

The pictures from the funeral are heartbreaking. What an amazing military family; husband, wife and son. God bless them all. Rest in peace Major General Greene. As an American, I am in awe of your service, and the sacrifice of your life to keep us free.

And i am sure the funeral was much better without Obama's presence, i am sure he would have tried to politicize the event by his appearance.
I salute major General Greene and his family and thank him for his service. may he R.I.P.
