Fire in Huntingtown?

Just turned on the scanner and sounds like there may be a fire in Huntingtown. Does anyone know what is going on? Praying for eeryone involved.

Hubby said he saw fire truck pulling into Huntingtown High School about a minute ago.

There is also an accident by the Surrey Inn on the Southbound side. Cars are in the medium so traffic is moving.

Was coming north on Rt. 4 through PF when I was passed by a fire truck and ambulance from Solomons. It continued north on 4, but I lost sight of it just north of Plum Point Rd. When I got to the 7-11 on Rt. 2, there was a Deale fire truck hooked up to a hydrant behind Sunderland Liquors. We saw a Huntingtown FD truck go back and forth on Dalrymple, like they weren't sure where to go. We also saw trucks from Dunkirk and a tanker truck that, I believe, was from PF. Daughter said one of the trucks said Charles County.

Not sure what is going on, but it looks like they have called in a TON of reinforcements.

There was a house fire on Sunderland Court, sounds like the house is completely gone. They had engines from all the northern calvert stations as well as Solomons, Prince Frederick, St. Leonard, PG County and AA County.

I saw 2 trucks on Rt. 231 coming back from Waldorf tonight. One was from Hughesville and I missed the other.

Typing too fast, and Thing1 was probably talking to me. I left out that I missed seeing what company was on the 2nd truck. :yay:

(probably cause Thing1 was talking to me in the car, too!)
