That would be way fattening because I'd be eating all the little leftover pieces of cake. I love cake.

I asked my husband to pick up cake mix on the way home.

I told him I wanted to make red, white, and blue Pop rocks cake...

He doesn't seem happy about me using pop rocks, food coloring, cake mix, frosting, or the oven but :1bdz:

He said we could just buy a cake from Giant to "save me the work"

You should have asked him to get it while he was ignoring you at lunch.

:drama:

Seriously, tell me how they work out. I was thinking about trying little cup cakes pressure cookers.

:yay:

OMG... I wonder how it would turn out if I baked the Pop Rocks IN the cake.... :jet:

I like to put my own little spin on things, you see. :coffee:

He said he was "Working in the shielded hangar" so he couldn't answer. :bigwhoop:

I was thinking a silver frosting maybe with sparkles and a licorice handle. I think I remember seeing a way to keep the inside hallow somewhere so I can add the pop rocks, but I'll have to research that.

That'll be next week's project. :coffee:
