First Birthday Party

I need some ideas for food. I don't want to do the regular stuff, hot dogs hamburgers and such. You can call me Betty Crocker these days. Besides his birthday cake (btw where is a good place to get one in St. Mary's that doesn't have that nasty "store" icing?) I'd like to make a "dirt cake" if anyone has any recipes for one, and a fruit pizza. I need some other ideas....

Absoluetly not sugarbritches. It's what we did for Noah's first and I want to do something different for Grady's.

Wow,

A year already :shocking:

Crazy hu? I think Noah's 4th b-day is going to hit me the hardest though. He won't be a "little" kid anymore he'll just be a kid. If that makes sense. :bawl:

On a serious note... I'll check a couple of sites that I have for the fruit pizza. I am totally ignorant of "dirt" cakes. IF I find anything, I'll post more!

First Birthday and a store bought cake :nono: and you call yourself betty crocker....hmppph........make him a cake, they are always much more beautiful than anything you can buy.....

I did a pirate theme last year for my kiddo and have a beautiful treasure chest cake if you are interested....easy too....

You can have the kids do a make your own sundae thing...with ice cream and toppings.

As for food just order a bunch of pizzas. I'm so not a Betty Crocker!!
